I Got My @GetGlue Stickers! Yes, They Deliver To Canada!
Today, I received in the mail my first shipment of GetGlue stickers. You may recall I mentioned them in a previous post on January 26, “International Use of GetGlue & Sticker Collecting“. Anyhow, I thought they were going to be sending me 20 stickers but maybe the fact that they were sending stickers to Canada made them only deliver 16.
NOTE: Judging by some of the comments I am getting it seems that people are confused as to what my affiliation is with the folks at Get Glue.
Allow me to clarify: I HAVE NO AFFILIATION WITH GET GLUE!!!
If you haven’t gotten your stickers that you’ve ordered I feel sorry but there is absolutely nothing I can do.
Apparently GetGlue doesn’t feel the need to put my actual name on the envelope.
I was also slight confused as to why GetGlue didn’t put my name on the envelope…privacy reasons? Maybe someone wrote some profane names and they didn’t want to send them out? I don’t know.
As I mentioned above, I was also quite confused as to why they chose to only send me 16 stickers….maybe they didn’t have some of the stickers they wanted to send me? But beyond that what is up with those 3 “White Heart stickers”? I’ve never seen them on GetGlue’s site so I didn’t earn them. Also, why 3 of them? The white in the White Heart looks like it could be meant to represent glue, so maybe its a Love GetGlue sort of thing? If anyone has any info on what these are I’d love to know.
I also have yet to figure out what I’m going to do with these stickers…the natural place I’d think is my TV but I don’t really wanna put them on my TV…that seems so grade school. Any suggestions as to where I should put my stickers? Let me know!!!
The GetGlue Stickers I got in all their physical glory. I don’t know why they only sent me 16.

Glad you received your GetGlue stickers! We ship in batches of 20, based on what’s in stock at time or fulfillment. This would be why you didn’t receive all 20 in your batch – some weren’t in stock.
Those heart stickers are what we call ‘Spread GetGlue’ and they’re for you to share with friends.

Also, you reminded me I should order my next set of stickers from GetGlue which I have yet to do.
Good to know internationally stickers are sent, well to an extent. I’ve ordered two batches to Australia, but haven’t seen any yet, this was last year sometime. So i guess they only send them to certain international destinations. Haven’t seen anywhere on their site though where they WILL or WON’T send them to.
That sucks. I don’t know why they aren’t delivering to Australia…maybe they’re just on their way and no boats have left to Australia to drop off any convicts recently (I kid, I kid). Have you tried contacting GetGlue & seeing what they say?
I applied for my stickers on October 16th, 2011. It’s now January 4th, 2011. I live in Toronto as well. I’m beginning to think I’m never going to see them ://// just ordered my second batch of new 20 stickers. Hopefully I get these ones!

Hmm, that stinks but it might not be GetGlue’s fault. Could be it just got lost somewhere along the way. The stickers come in a standard envelope so there is no way to track them and they are not given any priority. Maybe get in touch with GetGlue and let them know what happened?
I submitted a “Send me my stickers” request in October, then November, and again last month, December. Haven’t received ANY of them yet. Fellow Ontarian.

How much did you wait for them to come to you ?

Hey, Dan. I just wanted to know if you’ve received any stickers within the past few months. A few of my friends who have been receiving stickers aren’t anymore. I have a feeling getglue.com doesn’t send them to Canada anymore even.

The last time I received stickers was quite a while back. I would guess 5 months ago was the latest time I received stickers but am not sure if it was even that recent. I have ordered them since but haven’t kept track of when it was. It is entirely possible they aren’t sending to Canada anymore but I would suggest asking the folks at GetGlue via their site, email, or Twitter about that.
I have also written a tweet to them about the commenters on this post so that hopefully they see it and will respond in some manner.
U have never ever got mine, first set requested back in November 2011 and have asked for a couple more since then and still have yet to recieve anything. Im from Canada
Wish I could help but I would suggest lodging a complaint with GetGlue themselves as I am in no way affiliated with them. I too haven’t received any stickers in a long, long time.

Nope it appears GetGlue is a fast scam to gather peoples personal information. I requested mine in September and no stickers or replies from them. Go figure
i’ve requested stickers many many times, they’ve never been sent. I’ve sent multiple emails and tweets to GG, with no response…Also in Ontario…I guess I’ll keep waiting as now it says I have to get over 100 stickers before they’ll send them…..
That really stinks to hear! I actually recently decided to delete GetGlue from my phone once and for all as I found the people managing their community to be rude and the service to be absolutely riddled with spoilers. After I had one too many episodes of my favorite shows spoiled coupled with GetGlue not seeming to care about this massive problem on their site I decided enough was enough. I’ve tried using a competing service called Miso but it lacks the number in its community to really make it attractive so for me social TV aside from discussions on Twitter is something I am staying away from. (Unless someone comes up with a way to reform it.)
